Parents of prospective/new students should call the school office (435-283-4171)  to fill out a pre-registration form by phone. This information is required for secretaries to set up a new parent account for PowerSchool. After the account is created, registration may be completed online.  (See the instructions below) Parents of new students will need to bring in a birth certificate and immunization records or upload them through Powerschool.  
 
New and returning students to EES must complete and/or update registration through the South Sanpete School district website/Powerschool.  Please complete the online registration ASAP. If online registration is not completed, students will be unable to participate in various activities. If you need assistance, feel free to call the school office.  The office staff can reset Powerschool usernames and passwords, if needed. Laptops are also available in the school office for registration, by appointment.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

* Go to the South Sanpete School District website:  www.ssanpete.org
* Under Quick Links (right hand side/bottom box) Click on:  PowerSchool Login
* Log into your PowerSchool account using your username/password. If you forgot your login information and need help, call the      office. 
* Click on your student’s name in the center box.
* Complete the registration for all students.
* Complete all pages of registration. Don't forget to click "Save Form" at the bottom of each page.
* The last page will be shaded, be sure to type your name and check the box before saving.

FOOD SERVICE INFORMATION
Breakfast and lunch will be served at each school daily. USDA is funding free meals this year to ensure students have access to healthy meals at school no matter their financial status. Our district is happy to offer these student meals. Each student will have access to one free breakfast and one free lunch daily. Any students that would like a second meal will need to pay the adult price in cash at the time of service ($1.60/breakfast and $3.50/lunch). Our program is Open Restricted meaning meals will only be offered to enrolled students.

Even though meals will be offered free of charge this year, it is extremely important that families in our district qualify for free or reduced price meals. Much of the funding our district receives for education is based on how many students qualify for free or reduced meals each year. You may be surprised to find that you do qualify, which in turn will help the entire school district, You can complete the meal application when you update the online registration forms. Ephraim Elementary will be out at 12:40 p.m. on Fridays. There will NOT be an early out on Mondays.

Monday – Thursday = 8:10 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.  (NOTE NEW START TIME@ 8:10 a.m.) Friday = 8:10 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. (EARLY OUT DAY!)

REGISTRATION:

Please log into your Power School account (1st grade through 5th grade) before August 10th to complete/update your student registration. Kindergarten students are not completely entered into the Power School system yet.  Kindergarten parents may complete their registration after August 10th..   If you need help resetting your Power School user name and/or password, please call or drop in the school office between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for assistance.
