Digital Citizenship plan, is located on the school website. Resources are provided monthly to be taught in the classroom. Jodi Anderson from the school district organizes and compiles these plans (lessons). Parents sign a form at the beginning of the school year during registration in accordance with the South Sanpete School District policy regarding use of I-Pads. All these are located on the district website.  Students also have access to Typsy for fluent keyboarding practice and digital citizenship.

Concern of the pick up/ drop off locations is a safety concern.  Students are walking on the road, not using sidewalks and or crosswalks when crossing the street.  Ideas of a better way to run the pick up/drop off process was discussed.  There was a map detailing where to drop off/ pick up was sent out in an email.  Possibly send another one out and put it on the school website, and school binder.

361 students from Manti Elementary School during innovation week.  A one minute video was put together by Tori Mickelson with pictures that were sent to her by teachers.  Students received a certificate and an ice cream sandwich for participating.  The video was shown to the members of the Community Council.

District is creating a team to design a portrait of a graduate. The team will include members from the community, including teachers, and students to give input of what we want our students, and the children of our community to graduate with at the end of high school.  Lindsay Briathwaite volunteered to be the Community Council member that is on that team. The first meeting will be held on November 30.

Recertification this year for Leader In Me will be in February/March of 2023.  More information will come.

Schools were given letter grades this year.  The last few years grades were not given due to Covid.  This year we received the grade of typical growth of achievement, growth was commendable but the growth of lowest 25% was below, students reading on grade level at 36% for grades K-3. 71.5% of students show growth in reading. Letter grade was typical growth with a C. We are comparable with other schools in the area.

The Christmas Program will be December 12th @ 6:00, MHS Gym. This year the 1st grade teachers are running it. The format will be changed a little.  After the program we will discuss thoughts on the new format.  This format idea is to help with the safety concerns with our K-2 students.
