Measurements
This is the measurement identified in the plan to determine if the goal was reached.
After reviewing last year's 22-23 school data, we determined that we needed to improve in ELA and math. The benchmarks we will use to measure growth is the Acadience Math and Acadience Reading test in K-5 (using composite scores) as well as RISE in 3rd -5th grades. Please choose one of the following two options to complete the Measurements section:
- Explain how academic performance was improved or not, and describe how the before and after measurement data supports the improvement.
- Explain how academic performance was improved or not, and attach measurement data from before and after plan implementation in the Attachments Section below. (If you choose this option, please put a note in your explanation to "see attached document").
On the beginning of the year Acadience Reading Assessment for the 2023-2024 school year, 67% of our students were reading on or above grade level. By the end of the year assessment, 78% were on grade level. Our goal was to have 80% on grade level. We were close and will continue to strive towards that goal. On the beginning of the year Acadience Math Assessment for the 2023-2024 school year, 51% of our students were on or above grade level. By the end of the year assessment, 68% were on grade level. Our goal was to have 70% on grade level. We were close and will continue to strive towards that goal. RISE scores overall were 47.3% in ELA and 50.8% in math. We are the same as the previous year in reading and raised 2% points in math from 48-50.
