At SSESC, each student has an individualized educational plan designed to support academic growth, behavioral development, and career and college readiness. In addition to the regular core curriculum, students receive a range of support services, which may include:
- Academic assessment – STAR testing
- Individualized instruction
- Low student-to-teacher ratios
- Behavioral interventions
- Cognitive skills training
- Technology training
- Tracking and completion of high school credits and graduation planning
- Check & Connect mentoring
- Career and college readiness activities, including exploration through YouScience
- Transition and vocational services
