Community Council

The School Community Council is a group of parents, teachers, and administrators who work together to improve student learning and guide the use of School LAND Trust funds. The council helps set academic goals, review school progress, and plan for future needs. Getting involved is a great way to make a difference in your child’s education and strengthen our school community.

Responsibilities:

Community Council members help determine how the school spends their school LAND trust funds.
Oversight committee for school improvements activities
Communication Liaison between public and school

Requirements:

Two-Year term
Must have a student enrolled at GVMS
Be willing to attend quarterly meetings at the school

Please feel free to nominate yourself or someone you feel would do a great job to serve on our Community Council.
