PROGRAM AND ACADEMIC INFORMATION

                 Manti High School has a rich tradition of academic excellence. Although we are a small school, we currently offer over 100 required and elective courses to enable you to design an educational experience that helps you accomplish your long-term educational goals.

 1.       MHS Program of Studies:

  1. A Unit of Credit. A Unit of Credit or fraction thereof shall be given upon satisfactory completion of a course of study or learning experience in harmony with the adopted state course of study, with the duration of the course offering being 150 clock hours unless the course is offered on a performance basis, in which case minimum standards of performance will be established by the local board of education in terms of skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values. No less than one-fourth unit of credit will be awarded for partial completion of a course or for completion of a short-term course. No credit is awarded for released-time programs of religious study.
  1. Earned Units of Credit. Based on adopted state courses of study, each student in grades 9-12 will earn a minimum of 27 units of credit.
