Minutes approved read and approved by: Travis Good made a motion to approve minutes from March 1, 2021. Mr. Smith seconded the motion. All approved.

Attendance: Aaron Smith, Travis Good, Karen Soper, Jennifer Quarnberg, Kris Pogregowski, Amy Rasmussen, Paula Tippets, Tomica Boehrer, Roxanne DeBiasi

Reviewed the trust land plan and salaries (paraprofessionals) for the 2021-2022 year. MHS Trustlands salary projections.

Motion made to approve by Paula Tippets for edit and changes to the trust lands expenditure. Second the motion by Travis Good. All in favor. 

Kris Pogresowski presented information about the sterling scholars and runners up from our High School and how the seniors represented MHS.

Karen Soper talked about educating the students, parents and teachers about the Mask Mandate placed by the Utah Legislature passed House Bill 294. Reinforcing teaching and educating the parents about that this is coming from the Utah State, not the local  or high school employees. Mask mandate to stay in place until 06/15/21 for the school season. 

PCBL video shown then discussed meeting with MHS staff and secondary school involvement. 

Leader in me introduced by Kris Pogregowski. Registration starts next week for the Leadership courses and content areas. Karen Soper discussed how they will disperse those in each age group. Discussed pathways the students may pursue and how to incorporate internships etc. 

Amy Rasmussen discussed the possibility of having students read 7 habits of highly effective teens or at least making this available to have this resource there. Aaron Smith offered to have the students read this in his class. Karen Soper states she has a class set coming. 

Amy Rasmussen discussed the possibility of next year having name tags in order to identify and speak with each parent and staff member. 

Intercom system coming- Trust land funds-this summer. Teachers will also have microphones this summer. 

Rachel Keller has 41 students interested in the new swim team for the 2021-2022 school year. The school will provide a timing system.

Greenhouse- this summer (funding provided by MHS)

Junior Prom, April 17, 2021, 6:30 pm- students have all been tested. Promenade on the football field.

Graduation parade May 28, 2021, 7 pm Manti, Utah (kids are excited to have a parade again).

Aaron Smith stated that projections of this year's ACT scores is above the last year's average. 

Concerns, appreciation for service, and suggestions. 

Thank you for our service this year. We appreciate you all and talked about the returning parents and goodbye to the parents who may be leaving. 

Motion to re-approve to edited minutes which ACT score adjusted to 0.2 percent by Amy Rasmussen.  Seconded by Travis Good. All in favor. 

Motion to adjourn by Travis Good, motion seconded by Aaron Smith. All in favor
