May 26, 1945 - August 14, 1946

Tony peterson was 19 years old when he went to World War II.   He graduated from Gunnison High School on May 26, 1945.   He didn't like to talk much.  After he graduated he got trained for US Marine Corp. He was later flown to San Diego California.  He then went to Midway Island.  He came home on August 14, 1946 and started to work right away.
